going to make cold wind for new york city, cold for albany, into boston, even into new hampshire. temperatures are going to be cold tonight, down into the teens for the most part. vermont, you did very well. i know that depends on your point of view, but for killington, for sugar bush, for the ski resorts there, almost two feet of new snow in a place that has been very hard hit by a lack of snow the past couple years. but in vermont so far, 21 inches of snow. tomorrow, we get another storm that moves up to the northeast, believe it or not, right up to new york. it's going to be a storm that runs right along the spine of 32 degree weather. so could even see some ice and sleet from memphis back up to new york city by saturday. it's a storm that's going to start in the south, just like the last one did. i don't expect severe weather, just rain here with this one, but then as it runs up the northeast coast, almost a nor'easter but not quite, we will see snow even into new york city. by saturday night, it could be three inches, and at least it's good that it's saturday and not on a fr

what nate is going to be. and i want to do everything nate does. ben was born in new york city, he loved the beatles, lighthouses and he also played soccer, often running at full speed across the field, even when it wasn't necessary. he loved his lessons and couldn't wait to go to school every day to see his teacher and his friends. he was a tiger scout. at a his funeral, members of the local boy scout troop formed an honor guard and performed "taps." his parents write, he was a spirited boy whose love and excite of the world could rarely be contained. his rush to experience life was headlong, creative, and immediate. he will be sadly missed. on her last birthday, allison wyatt had a pink cake with six pink candles. a first grader at sandy hook elementary. she loved to draw, wanted to be an artist when she grew up. she often would turn parts of her house into a mini-art studio, by taping rows of her drawings to the wall. her parents say allison sometimes surprised her parents with random acts of kindness to strangers, once offering her own snacks to fellow passengers on the plane.

subway platform, ended with a man losing his life on the tracks and a city asking how those on the scene allowed it to happen. the initial confrontation was caught on video. two men arguing there. moments after this was shot, witnesses say the man on the right pushed the other man into the tracks. the suspect ran from the station. now, police say they're now questioning a man they picked up nearby that they identified after combing through surveillance video. a freelance photographer who happened to be on assignment for the "new york post" captured this haunting photo seconds before the man's death. that's the cover of the "post" right there. you can see the man in the foreground there and the approaching subway train. here's another photo from the "post" website showing the victim on the tracks with the train when it was farther away. a lot of people are asking tonight why the photographer didn't try to help the man instead of taking photos. the "post" says the photographer wasn't strong enough to lift the victim off the tracks so he was trying to use his camera's flash to try and
